Since its earliest days, the WMCT has supported young Canadian musicians with scholarships, awards, and performance opportunities. In 2000, the Women’s Musical Club of Toronto Foundation was established and now provides funding for these awards. Annual undergraduate scholarships are awarded at the Faculty of Music, University of Toronto, and The Glenn Gould School, The Royal Conservatory of Music. Also at the U of T Faculty of Music, a Graduate Fellowship was established with a gift of $25,000 from the WMCT and the WMCT Foundation, and matched by the University of Toronto, to create an endowment that will sustain an annual award for an outstanding graduate student in Performance. Special summer music scholarships are also awarded.

Most recently he sang the Impresario in U of T Opera’s production of Donizetti’s Viva la mamma. As an oratorio soloist, he has performed Ralph Vaughan Williams’s Fantasia on Christmas Carols with the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Toronto Children’s Chorus, Bach’s Magnificat with Stratford Summer Music, and Fauré’s Requiem with St. Thomas’s Anglican on Huron.
