Professor Robin Elliott is one of the five winners of the 2026 President’s Teaching Award.
This is the highest honour for teaching at the University of Toronto. The Award recognizes sustained and ongoing excellence in three interrelated areas: educational leadership, teaching excellence, and educational innovation. Since the inception of the President’s Teaching Award in 2006, Professor Elliott is the first winner from the Faculty of Music.
Robin is the organizer of our pre-concert TYM chats, and has documented the history of the WMCT in three publications, and in a bravura series of lectures for the 125th anniversary.
