126th Season | Francine Kay, piano

Francine Kay was the very first winner of the WMCT Career Development Award (CDA). She has been praised for having “an extraordinary range of colour” (Montreal Gazette) and “poetic brilliance” (Toronto Star). Currently professor at Princeton University, she tours widely, maintaining an active performing schedule. Her recent recording of Czech music Things Lived and Dreamt has received much acclaim; she will present music from this recording plus works by Debussy and Chopin.
