Yegor
Dyachkov: 2000 Career Development Award Winner.
A winner of
the Orford International Competition in 1997, Yegor Dyachkov has
toured internationally as a recitalist, orchestral soloist, and
chamber musician and has participated in major chamber music festivals,
including Kronberg, LanaudiPre, Tanglewood, Ottawa, Vancouver,
and Evian. He has collaborated with outstanding ensembles and
interpreters such as pianist Jean Saulnier and violinist Scott
St. John, the St. Lawrence, Borromeo, and Claudel string quartets;
he has recently become a member of the Quatuor Arthur-Leblanc.
His concert schedule includes engagements with I Musici de Montréal,
the Geneva Chamber Orchestra, and the Montréal Symphony
Orchestra. Dyachkov has participated in several recording projects,
has appeared many times on CBC Radio, and was the subject of a
documentary film "Un prix pour Yegor" by Radio Canada
Télévision.
