Welcome to the Women's Musical Club of Toronto's Homepage. People of all ages are invited to enjoy the Music in the Afternoon chamber music presentations which foster artistic growth in the musical community of Canada.

The Women's Musical Club of Toronto (WMCT) is a not-for-profit, charitable organization, run by a committed group of volunteers, both women and men, dedicated to enriching and advancing the classical music scene in Toronto. The WMCT accomplishes this through the presentation of a chamber music concert series. It also provides scholarships, awards, and performance opportunities for promising young Canadian talent; commissions new work from Canadian composers; and supports an outreach programme designed to expose young Toronto students to the classical music world.

The Women's Musical Club of Toronto's roots were established in 1899, when a small group of women musicians and music lovers met to share their passion for music. Today, almost 112 years later, the WMCT continues to flourish because of its dedicated and committed volunteers and members. READ MORE>>
