Career
Development Award
The
Women's Musical Club of Toronto Career Development Award was established
in 1989. This $15,000 award is aimed at assisting exceptional
young Canadian musicians who have already embarked on a professional
performing career, and furthering that career through a recital
in the Women's Musical Club of Toronto's Music in the Afternoon
concert series.
The
Award is a project of the Women's Musical Club of Toronto, in
partnership with CBC Radio Two and Espace Musique de Radio-Canada,
and is funded by the Women's Musical Club of Toronto Centennial
Foundation. The $15,000 award includes the fee for the recital
at the WMCT Music in the Afternoon concert series.
